A little late, but not never

So, reality strikes. I'm not as good at keeping up here as I thought I would. I will protest and say things have been a little busy.

One of the aspects of being a student that I enjoy most is hearing about other people's experiences in education. Namely, technology resource and availability.

How is the word 'technology' viewed by people? Is it as simple as a calculator or do teachers view technology awareness as a complete package. The ultimate plugged-in grab bag? Just web 2.0 or the hardware as well?

I hope to  become more educated about how the federal government views and funds technology across the board. I've been a part of discussions where people say that tools such as Ipads will soon be a regular in the classroom. Yet, I'm still getting overheads as a part of my newest curriculum resources. You can see from this where my scepticism in the first sentence is rooted and the questioning of the second has reasoning.
