It's time to get this party started...again. Summer is approaching, ISTE is so close and work has got me tightly wound. What better therapy than blogging?
I've managed to slowly crawl my way through Education Nation, loving every minute of Chen's insight. It has me all nerdy excited about their presence at ISTE 2011.
I've also said a slow, painful good bye to my tablet and moved on to becoming Mac. It's true what they say-once you go mac, you fall in love.
Plans for summer time are under way. Besides keeping up with paces here and finishing up my program I'm thinking of ways to fill of July and August with books, hours of self-teaching moments and self motivated research. Also debating my next education endeavor/challenge.
I'm currently praising edtechteacher at Harvard for being proactive about providing excellent summer workshops for teachers. This organization has joined the world of publications, here's a preview of one of their books.
As I continue to scrounge the internet for summer learning opportunties for teachers, I'm struggling to find professional development resources for science teachers that are affordable, local and approachable.
Time for Saturday. Love you Philly.
